Youth Boys Age Group Changes
Following a review of football participation and physical size by AFLQ over the last 18 months, the decision has been made to alter the competition’s age groups for Youth Boys.
Starting 2023, Youth Boys age groups will change:
- From Under 12.5s to Under 13.5s (Born 1 July 2009 and 30 June 2011)
- From Under 14.5s to Under 15.5s (Born 1 July 2007 and 30 June 2009)
- From Under 16.5s to Under 17.5s (Born 1 July 2005 and 30 June 2007)
All other age groups (Footy4Fun and Youth Girls) will remain the same.
New Players to the Club
New players to the club are invited to submit an expression of interest in joining the Cats.
Due to club policy surrounding player numbers, all new memberships are subject to approval based on expected numbers. This includes transfers from other clubs, and new members into the club.
