AUSKICK PLAY

Auskick Play (5-7 year olds)

Auskick Play is a super fun, social and safe AFL development program for boys and girls between the ages of 5-7 (born between 1 July 2018 and 31 December 2020).

It’s an extension to the Auskick program, where participants can further develop their football skills, social skills and match play in a local club environment before officially starting Junior Club Football in Under 8’s.

No tackle, smaller field size, 6-a-side teams, fun and safe! 

Superstars is fixtured between other local clubs!   Fridays between 4 and 6pm starting in May and finishing in mid-August (with a break during school holidays).  Last year, games are fixtured against other clubs including Carrara, Robina and Surfers Paradise.  Clubs will take turns to host the sessions.

Boys and girls will be placed into teams based on school and friendship groups, and participate in the sessions as a group – 10-15 minutes of warm up and then a 3-period game.

Please note: those players born in the first half of 2018 are encouraged to join the Junior Football program, however they can join in with Superstars if there’s no space, or you feel your child is not ready for Junior football yet.

Registration costs are only $50 for the program (if you’ve participated in Auskick in 2024, otherwise, the cost is $125*)

* Note – Auskick Play Registration in PlayHQ defaults to $125 which includes the State Registration Fee.  Those people who have participated in Auskick in 2024 are not required to pay this fee, and will be given a discount code to use during their Superstars registration.  Please email superstars@broadbeachcatsjafc.com to request this discount code.
