GIRLS FOOTY4FUN
Footy4Fun is AFLQ’s junior football development program, covering boys and girls from ages 7 through to 11.
At the Cats we have two Footy4Fun age groups with Girls Football teams.
GIRLS UNDER 9
In Under 9s, girls will be introduced to the game through small-field, 9 a side matches, with minimal contact (tackling is a bear-hug, not to be brought to ground).
To play Under 9 Girls, players must be aged born between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2017).

GIRLS UNDER 11
In Under 11s, girls are introduced to rules which closer align with what they will play in Youth football. Proper game play technique is taught, and games are competitive – however there are no premierships.
To play Under 11 Girls, players must be aged born between 1 July 2012 and 30 June 2014.

All registrations costs cover insurance, club and AFL registration, a club polo, a trophy/medal, an invitation to Presentation day/night, and a whole lot of fun throughout the season!
