2024 was an amazing year. Record numbers – our club is now the second largest AFL club in Queensland by participation. A massive 12 Youth teams playing finals – 4 of them Grand finals, and of that 2 premierships – U13 Boys Division 1 and U15 Boys Division 3. Our senior club continues to blood emerging CATS through the senior ranks. We saw Broady boy Jake Rogers get drafted to the Gold Coast Suns.

And 2025 will be even better.

At Broadbeach, we have

• an amazing youth football program, for both Boys and Girls
• a thriving Footy4Fun football program where players develop the skills they need for youth football, all while learning the culture of the Cats
• some of the best facilities on the Gold Coast
• a great family club with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

To join the Cats in 2025, please complete the below form.

Please note, we impose limits on many of our age groups. We offer members who played at the Cats in 2024 the first opportunity to re-join, then offer places or run trials for those seeking to join. In some cases, although an expression of interest is submitted, a place may not be offered due to capacity being reached. The club committee will do all that it can to encourage all players to participate, however they also reserve the right to decline a transfer or a registration for any reason.

Once your Expression of interest has been submitted, the coordinator for your child’s age group with discuss with coaches to ensure we have enough space to fit you in at the Cats.

Once that has been cleared, your expression of interest will be approved by the committee. This process will happen in February. You will then be notified of the outcome and if approved, the next steps on how to sign up.

If you have been registered at another club prior to this year, you will be required to complete a transfer, which can be done easily as part of your registration (“Request to Play” submission) For more details on this process, read our Transfer Policy.
