Nomination for Cat of the Year

The Broadbeach Juniors “Cat of the Year” awards recognises the amazing people in our club who go out of their way to make other people’s life at the Cats that little bit better.

The winner of these awards is an individual at the club who exhibits all the characteristics of the values of our club:

  • Recognise the importance of fun and enjoyment and we encourage the values of development and participation of junior Australian Football
  • Winning isn’t everything, but active competition contributes highly to player development
  • Foster a fun, healthy and safe environment for the local community to enjoy. – participation, skill and social development of junior AFL are our key functions.
  • If in a team official capacity, promote fair play as well as player rotation. Each and every participant will get the opportunity to experience each position throughout the season.
  • Promote a friendly positive image and we always encourage parental support at both team and committee level.
 
We’re asking for your nomination.  If you know someone from the club who exhibits and lives these principles on a weekly basis, please submit your application below.
 
We have two categories:
1) Cat of the year (a parent, coach, manager, official or committee member)
2) Junior Cat of the Year (a player)
