Superstars Footy (5-7 year olds)

Superstars footy is a super fun, social and safe AFL development program for boys and girls between the ages of 5-7 (born between 1st July 2015 and 30th June 2018). It is recommended that participants also join in an Auskick program at their club or their school before signing up to Superstars footy.

Once joined, participants can then further develop their football, social skills and match play in a local club environment before officially starting Junior Club Football in Under 8’s.

No tackle, smaller field size, 6-a-side teams, fun and safe!

Superstars is fixtured between other local clubs!   Fridays between 4:15 and 6:15pm starting May and finishing in mid-August (with a break during school holidays)

Superstars games in 2023 will be fixtured against other clubs – details of our cluster is to be confirmed but likely clubs include Broadbeach, Carrara, Mudgeeraba and Surfers Paradise.  Clubs will take turns to host the sessions.

Boys and girls will be loosely placed into teams, and participate in the sessions as a group – 10-15 minutes of warm up and then a 3-period game.

Please note: those players born before 1 July 2016 are encouraged to join the Under 8s program, however can join in with Superstars if there is no space in the Under 8s.

Registration costs are only $50 for the program (if you’ve participated in Auskick in 2023). 
Otherwise, the cost is $125 *

* Note – Superstars Registration in PlayHQ defaults to $125 which includes the State Registration Fee.  Those people who have participated in Auskick in 2023 are not required to pay this fee, and will be given a discount code to use during their Superstars registration.  Please email superstars@broadbeachcatsjafc.com to request this discount code.
