The Broadbeach Junior Australian Football Club is calling for applications for the roles of Head Coach, Assistant Coach/es, Team Managers and helpers for the 2020 season.
The Broadbeach Junior Australian Football Club Football program provides players with a strong grounding in the fundamentals of Australian rules football.
In 2020, the junior coaching program will have a Cat’s Curriculum which will ensure coaches are conducting age and developmentally appropriate activities and provide our players with a sequential skill, technique and game play curriculum through their age groups. Coaches are encouraged to be part of this curriculum development process.
It is expected that applicants follow this curriculum and have a strong focus on football fundamentals and fun.
As previously communicated, in 2020 the AFL are changing age groups cut-offs to July 1 instead of calendar years. In most cases, this will align with year levels at school.Details of which age group boys and girls belong to are below.
